Nick Rimando is part of this week's MLSsoccer.com's Team of the Week. He should be among the team's permanent fixtures. From his arrival for the 2007 season, the goal keeper has often been a game-saver for Real Salt Lake. That was once again true during Saturday's 1-0 victory against Sporting Kansas City. It was Rimando's 12 shutout of 2011.His two save in the first half were among the best of the season — not counting the shot he took off the head at Seattle. During the second half of the KC game, Rimando made like Ken Griffey, Jr., as he gathered in long, looping crosses.Officially, Rimando made five saves. But his secure hands diffused several more scoring opportunities where a bobble could have meant disaster.
