Real Salt Lake received some good news and bad news during Sunday's reserve game against Sporting Kansas City.First the good news. Outside back Chris Wingert played in a game for the first time since fracturing his wrist Aug. 13. Meanwhile, defender Tony Beltran was injured late in the game, suffering a left adductor strain. His prognosis is 2 to 4 weeks.Sporting won the game at XanGo Field, 1-0.

BECKERMAN TO 'REST'

Kyle Beckerman knew that picking up his fifth yellow of the season in Saturday's 1-0 victory against SKC would mean he'd sit RSL's game Wednesday at New York.

"I could use a rest, so I'll take a rest next game...It's not much of a rest, so I'll be ready for Saturday [against D.C. United]."
