Coach Jason Kreis will put his RSL players back to work today in an indoor workout to prepare for the second leg of their CONCACAF Champions League quarterfinal series with Columbus at Rio Tinto Stadium on Tuesday. They still don't have a firm hold on which team they would potentially face in the semifinals, though.Saprissa of Costa Rica defeated Olimpia of Honduras 1-0 in the first leg of their quarterfinal last night in San Jose — watch the highlights here — but now must make it hold up on the return leg in Tegucigalpa next week. The Costa Ricans (including former RSL defender Douglas Sequeira) probably are disappointed with not being able to do more with the man-advantage they had for the final 80 minutes of the game — Olimpia's Boniek Garcia was red-carded in the 10th minute for an incident off the ball — while Olimpia can probably feel confident in having repelled the Saprissa surges. If RSL can beat the Crew next week to advance past the quarters, it will begin the semifinals at home in Rio Tinto Stadium on March 15, with the return leg in either Costa Rica or Honduras on April 5.
