Hillcrest High guard Whitney Nemelka has signed to play basketball for the Salt Lake Community College women's basketball team.
Nemelka, 5-foot-7, was a 4A all-state first team selection in 2013 after averaging 17 points per game for the Huskies. She also averaged 3.6 assists, 2.9 rebounds and 5.9 steals a game.
Nemelka scored 784 points in her 85-game career at Hillcrest. The Huskies made it to the second round of the 4A state tournament last month.
