South Sevier senior Austin Clark, a 6-foot-4 swing man, has committed to play basketball at Central Wyoming College next year. Clark will sign with the Rustlers and coach Curtis Condie, a former Louisiana Tech assistant who coached at South Sevier and Wasatch high schools in Utah.
Clark transferred from Salina's North Sevier to Monroe's South Sevier before his junior year and earned all-state honors as the Rams claimed the 2A state championship.
South Sevier is favored to repeat as 2A champs under coach Scott Hunt. Another highly recruited athlete, Race Parsons, also returns.
Parsons took an official visit to Southern Utah University last weekend, and has offers from several Division-I programs. He is expected to make a decision soon.
