Basketball: Davis County-based team wins big Idaho tournament

A Davis County-based team of high school basketball players known as Utah Hoops won the varsity division of the Idaho Prep Tournament in Boise, Idaho, this past weekend.
The players are all sophomores at Davis County schools. They beat the Hoop Dreams of Idaho in the finals. The Idaho team featured BYU commit Braiden Shaw.
The Utah Hoops teams was comprised of Bountiful's Trevor Lloyd, Sam Merrill, Zac Seljaas, Pere Le Sueur and Jordan Bleak; Davis High's Abel Porter, Roy's Brekkott Chapman, Layton's Michael Hibbert and Woods Cross High's Luke Jowers.
It was coached by Lynn Lloyd.
