O-lineman commits to Utes
Published on Dec 30, 2011 05:28AM
The Utes added another offensive lineman to their 2012 class Thursday night when Cedrick Poutasi, out of Desert Pines H.S. in Las Vegas, announced during the Offense-Defense All-American Bowl in Arlington, Texas that he was going to Utah.
Poutasi is a 6-foot-5, 325-pound tackle who had offers from other Pac-12 schools including Arizona State.
His commitment will help ease some of the sting of losing Alexandru Ceachir out of Santa Monica College to UCLA. Ceachir committed to Utah but signed with UCLA when Norm Chow announced he was taking the head job at Hawaii.
