Cottonwood QB Cooper Bateman gets offer from Boise State

Cottonwood quarterback Cooper Bateman's junior season has ended, which means its recruiting season.
The Colts' star quarterback last week received his fifth Division 1 offer, with the Boise State Broncos joining Utah, Utah State, BYU and Maryland as Bateman's top suitor. Bateman said Monday that the Boise State coaches have seen him on film and that offensive coordinator Brent Pease was in attendance for the Colts first-round playoff loss to Northridge two weeks ago.
Bateman said he will make an unofficial visit to Boise State this weekend to watch the No. 5 Broncos play TCU.
In 10 games this season Bateman threw for 25 touchdowns and nearly 2,500 yards for the Colts, who finished the year 5-5.
