Lone Peak junior guard Nick Emery, a 6-foot-1 combo guard, has just gotten an offer to play basketball at Oklahoma State — one he will add to his standing invitations to BYU and Utah.

The Cowboys become the first school outside of Utah to offer The Tribune's 5A MVP - winner of the same honor from the Deseret News as well as the Gatorade Player of the Year award - after watching him play July 10-12 with Lone Peak at the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame National Invitational in Boston.

Emery also has received considerable interest from Kansas, Arizona State and Washington. It's worth noting that Emery's older brother, Jackson Emery, was a BYU star through last season.
