Highland High's Lew Evans, a Salt Lake Tribune first-team 4A basketball all-state selection, has decided to attend a prep school in New Hampshire before embarking on his college basketball career.
Evans, a 6-foot-8 forward, has committed to play at New Hampton School for the 2011-12 season. New Hampton plays in the New England Prep League, widely considered the top prep school league in the country.
Former Olympus High star Nicholas Paulos played for New Hampton before moving on to North Carolina-Greensboro.
Evans led the Rams in scoring and rebounding at the 4A state tournament.
