MaxPreps in conjunction with two national coaching organizations honored two Utah high school athletes this week.

Enterprise's Riley Lyman was named Utah prep volleyball player of the week by the American Volleyball Coaches Association. The 6-foot senior has 40 kills, 35 digs, 35 receptions, six aces and 27 blocks this season in leading the Wolves.

American Fork's Laken Flanders earned Utah soccer player of the week honors from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. The Caveman senior has 12 goals and two assists and has led American Fork to an 11-4 overall record this season.
