Juan Diego 2013 graduate Dakota Cox is making quite a name for himself on the New Mexico defense.
His 18 tackles and an interception in the Lobos 38-35 win over rival New Mexico State last week earned him Mountain West Conference Defensive Player of the Week honors.
Cox, a sophomore at New Mexico,. is leading his team in tackles with 15 per game. The 18 tackles tied him with eight other players as the most in FBS this year.
