Park City mountain bikers dominated the most recent Utah High School Cycling League races last weekend at Nordic Valley.

Racers from Park City had top finishes in six of the 11 divisions, sweeping the girls D1/D2 Varsity race, and taking first and second place in the Boys D1 Freshman Race.

Sienna Redel of Park City won the D1/D2 Varsity Race finishing ahead of teammates Brennan Egan and Quinn Graves.

Park City's Connor Patten overcame a five-rider deficit to win the boys D1/D2 varsity race. He beat second-place Adam Brown of Timpanogos and third-place Jacob Mathewson of Ogden.

The event was run on Nordic Valley Ski Resort's new 3.1-mile mountain biking course that included a 453-foot climb.

After two rounds of racing, Park City leads Division 1 followed by Corner Canyon, Alta, Skyline and Lone Peak. In Division 2, Ogden is first followed by Riverton, Salt Lake Composite, Moab and Sky View.

More than 630 athletes competed. The next event is scheduled October 4 at the Round Valley trail system in Park City.
