Five defending state champions will be featured in televised game with Duchesne, 2A champion South Summit playing rival North Summit on October 10, 3A winner Judge at Morgan October 24, 3AA champ Desert Hills at Payson on September 19 and 5A champion Bingham playing at Herriman on August 28, Brighton on September 26 and Alta on October 2.

"Without a doubt, this is the best lineup of high school football games that KJZZ has been able to televise with the support of TOSH and Washakie Renewable Energy," said Jeremy Castro, KJZZ 14 general manager and vice president of broadcasting for Miller Sports Properties. "We are broadcasting games from all six high school classifications as well as showcasing the top teams."

The state playoffs begin on October. 31, with a quarterfinal game on November 7, doubleheader state semifinals on both November. 13 and 14, and the 3AA, 4A and 5A state championship triple header on November 21.

KJZZ broadcasts on channel 14 over the air and for Dish and DirecTV subscribers and on Comcast channels 3 (SD) and 657 (HD). The station provides over-the-air coverage throughout Utah, southwestern Wyoming, southeastern Idaho, southern and eastern Nevada, southwestern Colorado and northern Arizona.
