The Bountiful and Olympus softball teams will be playing for more than just a victory when they meet Friday at 3:30 p.m. on the Titans' field.

The Olympus team has designated the game as a "Purple Game" fundraiser to bring awareness to brain cancer in honor of Titan player Reagan Everett.

Everett was diagnosed with a rare genetic condition called Li-Fraumeni Syndrome, which increases the likelihood of developing malignant tumors. But, despite her illness, Everett continues to play softball.
