The Utah High School Cycling League’s second event of the season, the Round Valley Round Up, takes place Saturday at Quinn’s Valley Sports Complex in Park City.
The varsity girls race, which is approximately 14 miles, begins at 10 a.m., and the boys varsity race, which will cover approximately 18 miles, is slated for 1:05 p.m.
Park City won the Division 1 title at the season-opening race with 4,174 points. Corner Canyon, the host, was second with 3,917, and Alta took third with 3,743.
Zach Peterson of South Davis Composite won the varsity boys race, while Park City’s Haley Batten won the varsity girls race.
Saturday’s race is the second in the five-event schedule. The state championships are scheduled for No. 9 in Moab.
