Folks in Utah might be wondering: Who is this USC-committed quarterback who goes to Jake Heaps' old school and is playing Cottonwood on Friday night?

Glad you asked.

Max Browne, the No. 1-rated quarterback by Scout and No. 2 by ESPN, will be one of the highlights of Friday's 7:30 game, a contest between two of the best prep prospects at the position. But Browne is also friends with his rival, Cottonwood QB Cooper Bateman, who is going to Alabama next spring.

In the video, taken at practice at Bingham High on Thursday night, Browne talks about the game, his experience in Salt Lake, and what it means to be facing his friend on the field.

Stay tuned to tribpreps.com for more on this game. Tune in to ESPNU at 7:30 p.m. to watch.
