Friday's high school baseball, softball tournaments delayed

Rain, rain, go away, we want to play tournaments to-day ...

Unfortunately, the weather has other ideas, so whip out your umbrellas and check your daily planners because Friday's state tournament action is being pushed back.

Class 3A baseball at Kearns Field will be delayed until at least 2 p.m. 3A softball has been moved to Salt Lake Community College and will only play two consolation games today.

Carbon and Delta baseball will play a consolation game at 2 p.m. down at Spanish Fork.

We will update the schedules as the delays are announced or extended, but for now, here they are:

3A baseball, Kearns HS

2 p.m. » Consolation: Canyon View vs. Juan Diego

5 p.m. » Winner’s bracket semifinal: Spanish Fork vs. Snow Canyon

8 p.m. » Consolation quarterfinal

At Spanish Fork, 2 p.m. » Consolation: Carbon vs. Delta

3A softball, at SLCC

3 p.m. » Consolation: Canyon View vs. Wasatch

5 p.m. » Consolation: Stansbury vs. Uintah

All of 3A softball has been pushed back to Saturday at Valley Complex, starting at 10 a.m. The championship will be at SLCC at 2 p.m. on Monday.
