Polygamous community grocery store shuttered again

CMC Food Town (kind of a great name for a grocery store, actually) is closed again, apparently for good this time.
The Colorado City, Ariz., building also has a new sign proclaiming it a warehouse for Quality Wholesale Distributors, which appears to be another business owned by the Warren Jeffs-led Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
The store, along with the adjacent hardware store and RadioShack, actually shut its doors abruptly on Friday — only to open again Saturday, apparently to sell off inventory.
It’s still unclear exactly why the businesses were shuttered, though you can read a few possible reasons in my story here, but the closest grocery store is now more than 20 miles away.
