Kristyn Decker, a former member of the Apostolic United Brethren, will sign copies of her memoir in West Jordan later this month.
"Fifty years in Polygamy: Big Secrets and Little White Lies" was released April.
It chronicles her "early years of neglect, molestation, and abuse," marriage at 17, and her departure from the group, according to a press release. She left in part to help her 16-year-old daughter, who was living on the streets and addicted to drugs. Read more about the book on her blog.
The group the reality TV stars of "Sister Wives," by the way, also claim membership in the AUB, Decker's former sect.
