The U.S. Interior Department proposes restoring the Provo River delta by acquiring 310 acres of marsh and agricultural lands where the river meets Utah Lake and diverting much of the rivers flow over it, recreating a lost wetland ecosystem that would provide habitat crucial to the recovery of endangered June sucker.
