Pac-12: Oregon concludes league's football season

<!-- @page { margin: 0.79in } P { margin-bottom: 0.08in } -->

The Pac-12 is down to its final bowl opportunity of 2012, with much at stake. A victory for Oregon over Kansas State in the Fiesta Bowl would make the league 4-4 – but more important, 2-0 in BCS games.

This postseason has been largely a disappointment for the conference, and there's obviously no Pac-12 representative in the BCS title game Monday. But winning the Rose and Fiesta Bowls would be nice achievements for the league.

Stanford, the Rose Bowl champion, remains the only team that has remotely slowed down Oregon's offense, and I don't believe Kansas State is capable of staying with the Ducks tonight. Even with all of the issues surrounding Oregon coach Chip Kelly's future, the Ducks can focus sufficiently for three-plus hours and overcome K-State. The pick: Oregon 31, Kansas State 21. </
