Postal Service considers grocery delivery option. Stewart, Robles play nice in debate. Herbert asks for Stericycle probe.

Happy Friday. The U.S. Postal Service has been losing big money the last few years — partly chalked up to Congress' insistence it prepay pension accounts — so now the mail carrier is considering a new way to bulk up its revenues: Grocery delivery. The delivery business of milk, eggs, laundry soap and other sundries is growing across the United States and the Postal Service figures its got trucks, pre-planned routes and drivers, so why not jump in. We shall see if that becomes a reality, though. [WaPost]

Topping the news: Rep. Chris Stewart and state Sen. Luz Robles engaged in a friendly debate but showed obvious differences in the 2nd Congressional District race when it came to issues of immigration, gay marriage, and the role of the federal government.
