Topping the news: Utah has given marriage licenses to same-sex couples for 17 days, but that came to an end when the U.S. Supreme Court issued a stay of District Judge Robert Shelby's ruling that gay couples have a constitutional right to wed. The case now rests in the hands of the 10th Circuit based in Denver, but could be on its way back to the high court in the years to come.
