Report: Immigration bill could cost taxpayers $6.3 trillion. U.S. attorney for Utah hands Swallow probe to Justice. Herbert nominates Braceras for UDOT head.

Happy Tuesday. The proposed immigration reform bill now before the Senate could cost taxpayers $6.3 trillion if enacted as the new citizens it would create would take more in federal benefits than taxes they pay in, according to the Heritage Foundation, which used a previous report on this subject to help scuttle the 2007 reform push. From @EvanMcSan, after work leaked that Sen. Saxby Chambliss got a hole-in-one: "when you get a hole-in-one in a presidential golf game, you win a free drone strike on the target of your choice."

Happy birthday: To Gov. Gary Herbert.
