Happy Tuesday. While the job of commander in chief is the most demanding in the world, Vanity Fair pulled together a bunch of photos to show that President Barack Obama is able, on occasion, to lean back and enjoy the time. The magazine highlights White House staff photos of the president resting his feet on the Resolute Desk and otherwise appearing a bit more relaxed. [VanityFair]
Topping the news: Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Tex., says fellow Republicans yelled at him and Sens. Rand Paul and Mike Lee over their filibuster of gun-control legislation — but Cruz struck back, calling the Senate GOPers "squishy." [Politico]
