Happy Tuesday. In tomorrow's presidential debate, you may not see the candidates making the same charges their campaign TV spots are, though don't expect all honesty emanating from the stage, either, as both President Barack Obama and Mitt Romney know the stakes are big. As the NY Times' Adam Clymer puts it, "Consumer warning: The claims you hear in Wednesday night's presidential debate may be hazardous, if not to your health, then to your relationship to reality." Topping the news: Romney's "47 percent" remark doesn't appear to be going away and it could be hurting him in the heartland where he really needs to pick up votes. [WaPost]

-> A new poll by KSL/DNews shows Saratoga Springs Mayor Mia Love up 6 percent over Rep. Jim Matheson. [KSL] [DNews]
