Jon Huntsman's campaign is asking Rep. Ron Paul to disavow a YouTube spot posted by a supporter that questions whether the former Utah governor is loyal to the United States or China and features shots of his adopted Chinese daughter, Gracie Mei, and an image of Huntsman superimposed wearing a Communist uniform.

"The ad is offensive and the Paul campaign and their supporters should condemn it," Huntsman spokesman Tim Miller said Thursday night after the clip began circulating.

YouTube user NHLibert4Paul posted the spot and the video does not claim to be from Paul's official campaign.

The 1:16 minute clip shows Huntsman speaking Mandarin on several occasions and pictures of him with Gracie Mei in front of the U.S. and Chinese flags as well as a Photoshopped version of the famous image of former Chinese Chairman Mao Zedong with Huntsman's face.

In another part of the video, Huntsman and a young baby -- possibly his adopted Indian daughter, Asha -- wearing the traditional Bindis of the Hindu culture. "Share our values?" words on the screen ask. "Man of faith?"

Huntsman served as the U.S. ambassador to China before he resigned and ran for president.
