Continuing with Sunday's eye candy post, I present men's two-man bobsled.

On this night, the men were taking their final two runs of the competition. My plan was to shoot action along the course for the first run then go to the finish area to shoot their reactions.

In order to maximize the variety of pictures I could make of the sled in the several-second window of opportunity, I set up a remote camera with a wide angle lens near one of the turns. I then walked down the course at the end of the turn with a telephoto lens. I had the remote setup so that every time I would take a picture with the camera in my hands, the remote would fire.

As it turns out, this combination worked perfectly for every other team except for the sled with American pilot Steven Holcomb and brakeman Steven Langton — the main team I was focusing on. So, here is a picture of Germany's team with the nice sky and mountains I had hoped to also have for Team USA's run.
