Most of the pictures on this blog so far have been nice moments of the athletes. Capturing those peak moments is one of the primary reasons why I was sent to cover these Olympics.
But sometimes I just need to shoot some graphic eye candy.
This picture was made after the conclusion of the Men's super-G competition. While I still made plenty of action and reaction photos of Americans Andrew Weibrecht and Bode Miller winning silver and bronze, there was just something visually striking about watching 50 volunteers ski down the mountain in parallel lines as people on the lift go up the mountain.
