With contributions from three former students, including two athletes representing other countries, Salt Lake City's Westminster College ended up with eight medals in the 2014 Olympics - including four golds.
Vic Wild, a former student who now competes for Russia after marrying a Russian snowboarder, won two gold medals in snowboarding. Jonathan Midol, another former student who's from France, earned a bronze medal in skicross. Westminster's U.S. medalists included former student Kaitlyn Farrington (gold, snowboarding) and current students Maddie Bowman (gold, freestyle skiing), Joss Christensen (gold, freestyle skiing), Devin Logan (silver, freestyle skiing) and Alex Deibold (bronze, snowboarding).
The current students attend Westminster via a partnership with the Park City-based U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association.
