Sage Kotsenburg is scheduled to arrive home in Park City today, having completed a New York media tour on his way back from Sochi, Russia. After winning the first gold medal awarded in the 2014 Olympics, in last Saturday's snowboard slopestyle event, Kotsenburg has remained a huge star of the Games. His Twitter following has grown from 13,400 to 63,900 in the past week and he has been a hit on all his television appearances, including an interview with new "Tonight Show" host Jimmy Fallon that aired Thursday. However, Kotsenburg's growing fame has created some complications. In response to a photo posted on Instagram, supposedly illustrating a menu from Deer Valley Resort with an item named in honor of the snowboarder, a spokesperson issued this response: "Deer Valley Resort would not use the name of an athlete without prior agreement or sponsorship."
