The calendar says September, the store shelves say Halloween — so let's talk about your Christmas plans.

Kurt Bestor is already planning for the holidays. The Utah composer, pianist and entertainer has set the dates for his 27th annual Christmas concerts, set for Dec. 18-20 at Abravanel Hall, 123 W. South Temple, Salt Lake City.

Tickets for the four shows — which the musician is billing as his "Best Ever Bestor Christmas" concerts — go on sale Friday via ArtTix.

Bestor's guests for this year's concerts is the One Voice Children's Choir, the non-profit group of children ages 5 to 18 from all over the Wasatch Front. The choir appeared on "America's Got Talent," and backed up singer Alex Boye on a cover of "Let It Go" that became a viral sensation with nearly 50 million YouTube views.

"In the music biz, they say one should never appear alongside children on stage," Bestor said in a statement, adding, "but I have a feeling that combining the energy and youth of this choir alongside my all-star band and professional chamber orchestra is going to leave 2,000 plus people in Abravanel Hall breathless."

The concerts are being presented by Mountain America Credit Union, which is offering a family discount ticket packages for some shows.
