This week's Utah Crowd-Funding project can be summed up in two words: "Go Utes!"

Sandy filmmakers Thomas and Dave Cook are mounting a documentary on the team they call the original BCS Bowl Busters: The 2004 University of Utah Utes football team, which went undefeated on its way to a stunning win over Alabama in the Sugar Bowl.

The '04 Utes not only won every game that season, but their challenge to the power conferences "created a domino effect that led to the creation of a college football playoff," the filmmakers write.

The Cooks are trying to raise $25,000 via Kickstarter to produce their documentary. So far, they have no pledges. The deadline is Sept. 25.

Benefits for backers go from a DVD of the finished film (for $250) to having your name listed in the credits (for $1,000).
