Here’s what’s being talked about in pop culture this weekend (besides the alleged racist comments of L.A. Clippers owner Donald Sterling, which sucked all the oxygen out of the room):

• George Clooney is apparently ending his years of bachelorhood, with a report that the actor/director has become engaged to human-rights lawyer Amal Alamuddin. [People]

• The awful comedy "The Other Woman" won a tepid weekend at the box office, taking in $24.7 million to knock "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" off its three-week perch. [Box Office Mojo]

• Warner Bros. and DC Comics announced that director Zack Snyder will start work on a "Justice League" movie — teaming up Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash and other superheroes — to be released in 2018. [The Hollywood Reporter]
