Actor Tony Goldwyn — who plays a double-dealing president on ABC’s "Scandal" — has a new role on his schedule: Infamous polygamous leader Warren Jeffs.
Goldwyn will play Jeffs in an upcoming Lifetime movie, tentatively titled "Outlaw Prophet," according to Entertainment Weekly.
The movie is adapted from Stephen Singular’s book "When Men Become Gods," and will chronicle Jeffs’ ascension to power after the death of his father, Rulon Jeffs.
