The Cricket’s Daily 3: ‘Hustle’ and ‘Wolf’ lead MTV Movie Awards nominations

Here’s what’s being talked about today in pop culture:

• "American Hustle" and "The Wolf of Wall Street," both skunked at the Oscars, lead with eight nominations each at the MTV Movie Awards. "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" got seven nominations, and "We’re the Millers" got six. [The Hollywood Reporter]

• Miles Scott, the five-year-old cancer patient who got to save San Francisco as "Batkid," was scratched at the last minute from Sunday’s Academy Awards ceremony. [The Guardian]
