Here's what's happening today in pop culture:

It's not the first time an Oscar nomination has been pulled back. [The Hollywood Reporter, Entertainment Weekly]
• M. Night Shyamalan and Bruce Willis are looking to get back together, taking us back to the days when both men were making good movies. [Deadline]
• Animator Hal Sutherland, who co-founded Filmation and oversaw such Saturday morning shows as "Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids" and the animated "Star Trek," has died at the age of 85. [Cartoon Brew]
