A new contest will let filmmakers getting into the 2014 Slamdance Film Festival make their best trailer of their films.
The contest, developed by Slamdance and AVOS Systems Inc., will have filmmakers with movies in Slamdance upload their trailers to MixBit.com" target="_blank">MixBit.com (a platform developed by AVOS) — and let people on the website remix the clips and repurpose the trailers in creative new ways.
The competition goes live on MixBit.com" target="_blank">MixBit.com today. Ten finalists will have their trailers played during the Slamdance Film Festival, Jan. 17-23 in Park City. The grand prize winner will win a Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera, valued at $995.
