Stirling’s video "Radioactive," a cover of the Imagine Dragons song that she made with the Texas a cappella group Pentatonix, won in the Response of the Year category at a ceremony Sunday night in New York. (Click on the image above to watch and hear it.)
The category was dedicated to "the best fan remixes, covers or parodies" — and winners were chosen by fan views, "likes," comments and shares.
Alas, Stirling’s win meant another Utah musical act had to lose. One of the other nominees in the category was The Piano Guys, for a mash-up of David Guetta’s pop song "Titanium" and classical composer Gabriel Faure’s work "Pavane." That video was filmed in Bryce Canyon.
