• NBC has ordered a pilot of a rebooted version of the mystery series "Murder, She Wrote," with Octavia Spencer ("The Help," "Fruitvale Station") in the Angela Lansbury role. [Entertainment Weekly]
• More dancing with release dates: Paramount is moving "Jack Ryan," the latest reboot of Tom Clancy's spy character, from Christmas to Jan. 17.
