• The X96 Big Ass Show happens Saturday at the Gallivan Center, 239 S. Main St., Salt Lake City. Bands on the bill: Panic! At The Disco, Ed Kowalczyk (of Live), The Airborne Toxic Event, Blue October, Capital Cities, Pepper, Family of the Year, The Dear Hunter, Brogan Kelby, Codi Jordan Band, Solarsuit. Show starts at 1 p.m.; gates open at noon. Tickets are $30, at Smith’s Tix.

• "Party blues" act Andy Frasco & The U.N. performs Saturday at The State Room, 638 S. State St., Salt Lake City. Show starts at 9 p.m. Tickets are $10, at the venue’s website.
