• CBS is developing a new series called "Dorothy" that's described as "a medical soap based in New York City, inspired by the characters and themes immortalized in 'The Wizard of Oz.'" Huh?!? [Entertainment Weekly]

• Syfy held an online contest to pick a name for the sequel to "Sharknado," and the best the Internet could come up with was "Sharknado 2: The Second One." Epic fail. [Vulture]
