Here's what's happening today in pop culture:

• Distributors of the new movie "Lovelace" brushed back a last-minute lawsuit, filed by the copyright holders of the infamous porn film "Deep Throat," just days before the movie's release. [Entertainment Weekly]

• Amber Tamblyn is joining the cast of "Two and a Half Men," in a recurring role as Jenny, the illegitamate lesbian daughter of Charlie Sheen's long-gone character. [Vulture]

• Margaret Pellegrini, one of the three surviving cast members of "The Wizard of Oz," died at the age of 89. She played one of the flowerpot Munchkins and one of the sleepy-head kids. [CNN]
