Plans for tonight: Dylan vs. Megadeth

• Heavy-metal legends Megadeth headlines the "Gigantour" at the Maverik Center, 3200 S. Decker Lake Dr., West Valley City. Also on the bill: Black Label Society, Device, Hellyeah, Newsted, Death Division. Show starts at 4:30. Tickets, from $47.60 to $59.90, at TicketMaster.

• The legendary Bob Dylan headlines the Americanarama Tour, which lands at Usana Amphitheatre, 5150 S. 6055 West, West Valley City. Also on the bill: Wilco, My Morning Jacket, Ryan Bingham. Show starts at 5:30. Tickets, from $33 to $70, available at Smith’s Tix.

• Alt-rock band The National headlines this week’s Twilight Concert, at Pioneer Park, 300 West and 300 South, Salt Lake City. Opening act: Sharon Van Etten. Show starts at 7. Tickets are $5, at the gate.

• Southern-rock band Blackberry Smoke performs at The Complex, 536 W. 100 South, Salt Lake City. (It’s part of Bud Light’s "50/50/1" event, featuring shows in all 50 states on a single day.) Show starts at 8. Tickets are $20, at Smith’s Tix.

• British rock band The Cult performs at The Depot, 400 W. South Temple, Salt Lake City. Opening act: White Hills. Show starts at 9. Tickets are $41, at Smith’s Tix.
