• Stevie Wonder is taking definitive action after the verdict in the case of Trayvon Martin's death, saying he will not perform in Florida or anywhere there is a "stand your ground" law. [Vulture]

• Back from vacation, both "The Daily Show" and "The Colbert Report" took on George Zimmerman's acquittal. As Stephen Colbert put it, the verdict was a "victory for the rule of law, in that Florida apparently no longer has an rules or laws." [The Hollywood Reporter]

• One of the jurors in the Zimmerman trial has dropped plans to write a book, 24 hours after announcing she signed a book deal. [USA Today]
