Plans for the weekend: Old Crow flies in

• Blues-rock combo Band on the Moon celebrates its CD release and kicks off its tour with a show tonight at Kilby Court, 741 S. Kilby Court (330 West), Salt Lake City. Show starts at 7. Tickets are $7, at 24Tix.

• Roots band Old Crow Medicine Show performs tonight at Red Butte Garden, 300 Wakara Way, University of Utah campus, Salt Lake City. Opening act: Parker Millsap. Show starts at 7:30. The show is sold out.

•The Utah Symphony performs a program called "Take Me Home: The Music of John Denver," Saturday at the Snow Park amphitheater at Deer Valley, 2250 Deer Valley Drive, Park City. Jim Curry performs with the symphony. Show starts at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available at ArtTix.

Arrival, an ABBA tribute band, performs Saturday at Sandy Amphitheater, 9400 S. 1300 East, Salt Lake City. Show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets, at $15 and $25, available at Smith’s Tix.

• Right-wing radio host Glenn Beck’s stage spectacle "Man in the Moon" will be performed Saturday at USANA Amphitheatre, 5150 S. 6055 West, West Valley City. Show starts at 9 p.m. The show is sold out.
