• CBS yanked last night’s season finale of "Mike & Molly" in sensitivity to victims of the Oklahoma tornado, because the episode’s plot involved a tornado hitting Chicago. [The Hollywood Reporter]

• John Barrowman, who plays the omnisexual Capt. Jack Harkness on BBC’s "Doctor Who" spinoff "Torchwood" (and has made notable guest appearances this season on "Scandal" and "Arrow"), will host a celebrity singing competition on ABC. [Entertainment Weekly]
