Here's what's going on today in pop culture:

• Tom Cruise was tops at the box office this weekend, as his sci-fi movie "Oblivion" earned $38.2 million. [Box Office Mojo]

• Comedy Central is bringing the Matt Groening-created "Futurama" to an end when its seventh season concludes in September. [Entertainment Weekly]

• Chrissy Amphlett, lead singer of the '90s band The Divinyls, has died at the age of 53 after battling MS and breast cancer. The band is best known for its 1991 ode to onanism, "I Touch Myself." [The Telegraph]
