Here’s what’s happening today in pop culture:
• Sir Patrick Stewart, 72, is set to marry his 35-year-old fiancée, jazz singer Sunny Ozell — and Sir Ian McKellen, Stewart’s "X-Men" co-star, will officiate. [Entertainment Weekly]
• Gavin O’Connor ("Warrior") will direct Natalie Portman’s indie Western "Jane Got a Gun," and may start filming as early as Thursday — after the original director, Lynne Ramsay ("We Need to Talk About Kevin") quit abruptly by not showing up for the first day of shooting Monday. [The Hollywood Reporter]
• "Mad Men" co-stars Vincent Kartheiser (who plays cad Pete Campbell) and Alexis Bledel (who’s also a veteran of "Gilmore Girls" and "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants") are engaged. [Us Weekly]
